ABOUT US

Who We Are

Previously known as "The Woven Rose" it has morphed its way into The Rose. If you know me personally, I've always called it "The Rose" so with the rebrand it was only normal.

The Woven Rose was a family owned and operated company that was founded by a small town hairdresser, that is determined to change the apron industry. By creating a more industrial and functional feel to a less than standard apron, we strive to captivate you with our quality and consistency.

It all started when I attended an industry conference in 2015. She fell in love with a canvas apron that was not available to the public. Ever since, I had been searching for a one that would withstand chemicals that come along with hairdressing.

Fast forward 4 years into early 2019, I decided it was time to take it into my own hands. From this, the Dreamer apron was then created. I didn't know a lick about sewing but I was so determined I was going to make it work.

Since aprons aren't for everyone, the concept of the tote was born. Beginning with the Gatherer a full canvas bag to the Minimalist tote and then the Marie was introduced with the first leather and canvas hybird. Of course, with every tote you need a good wallet. Thus the concept of the minimalist wallet was born (now known as the Lee)

Our products are cut, sewn, assembled and treated with love by hand. They are made from textiles found in the USA:

- Oregon Leather companies provide us with our leather needs.

- Canvas is found from various local fabric stores

- Rivets are being brought in from various online small businesses

We are always looking for the best quality of product, it doesn't matter if its as small as the thread or as important as the canvas material itself. We are forever improving and growing not only as a company but as people as well.
